Norwegian ambassador’s visit to mbarali district, Spotlights Norges Vel’s impact on rice value chain

Norges Vel Tanzania, funded by the Government of Norway, has been empowering farmers in the rice value chain across Mbarali and Kilombero districts.

Through investments in training, infrastructure, and market access, we are driving meaningful change in the agricultural sector. The newly inaugurated rice milling facilities and storage warehouses are key milestones in our efforts to improve livelihoods and food security.

For over 15 years, we have supported farmers, youth, and women, with plans to continue until 2028 and beyond.🌾
