UNICEF believes that young people’s voices are essential in shaping the decisions that affect their lives. Their unique perspectives, innovative ideas, and lived experiences provide invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing youth worldwide. The UNICEF Evaluation Office has actively engaged young people through youth advisory groups (YAGs) in global evaluations, including the Evaluation of the Gender Policy and Gender Action Plans and the Evaluation of the Strategic Plan. Their contributions have helped make these evaluations more inclusive, responsive, and reflective of the diverse realities of young people.
