Evaluation That Evolves: Meeting Complexity with Agility

In 2024, UNICEF Evaluation and the Migration Development Hub launched an iterative evaluation of the PROSPECTS programme, an ambitious initiative supporting displaced communities across eight countries.

Also known as developmental or adaptive evaluation, this approach is built for complexity. It’s flexible, real-time, and designed to evolve with the programme. Unlike traditional evaluations, iterative evaluation supports continuous learning and evidence-based decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
