Hurricane Melissa devastated communities across Jamaica, including Black River, St. Elizabeth, one of the hardest-hit areas. With homes damaged and essential services disrupted, families like Kathleen’s and Christan’s are still struggling to recover. UNICEF is working closely with the Government of Jamaica and partners to reach affected families with urgent support. We're helping to restore access to health, nutrition, child protection, safe water, and learning, so children in the hardest-hit communities can begin to rebuild their lives.
