Impact Accelerator Project Video
Access to safe and comfortable public toilets in motor parks that women, girls, and persons with disabilities can use with dignity and without concerns is a necessity.
WaterAid Nigeria with funding support from Who Gives a Crap participated in the second phase of the Impact Accelerator Innovation Challenge.
Our innovation for the challenge aimed at improving access to toilets in public places that women and girls can use without worries and concerns in Bauchi State through a user-centred approach.
We worked with the Bauchi State Government to generate evidence from research, including users’ feedback on public toilets in motor parks and marketplaces to influence the review of public toilets designs in the State.
Watch as some users narrate their experiences from using public toilets in the state.
