More information on the sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention (COP-6): https://minamataconvention.org/en/meetings/cop6 #MinamataCOP6, held in Geneva from 3 to 7 November 2025, brought together more than 1,000 participants in person and nearly 4,000 online viewers. During the meeting, the Parties adopted 22 decisions to advance implementation of the Convention and strengthen cooperation to reduce mercury pollution, including an agreement to end the use of dental amalgam by 2034, a historic milestone for the protection of human health and the environment.
