On 25 September, SWA hosted the final preparatory webinar for the 2025 Sector Ministers’ Meeting (SMM), which will take place in Madrid on 22 and 23 October. Titled “Breaking Silos: Uniting Political Leadership for Integrating Water, Sanitation and Climate Action”, Session 1 featured nine speakers from different constituencies and institutions shared insights, including representatives from the European Commission, the Steering Committee chair from IRC, and the Government of Spain (host of the SMM). The webinar highlighted national preparatory processes, shared key insights, and provided important logistical updates. Held in four languages, it marked the final step in mobilizing partners for a successful meeting in Madrid.
