Three decades of partnership – a story about people and a shared journey toward the future 2025 marks three decades of German Development Cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, celebrating 30 years of shared commitment, mutual trust, and tangible results that have shaped the country’s sustainable development path. Since 1995, Germany, through its implementation organizations GIZ (for technical cooperation) and KfW (for financial cooperation), together with the German Embassy in Sarajevo, has been a steadfast partner to Bosnia and Herzegovina, supporting peacebuilding, economic transformation, and the country’s journey toward EU integration.
