On November 15, 2023, in Budva, Montenegro, a landmark event unfolded—the launch conference of the "Green Agenda: Decarbonisation of the Electricity Sector in the Western Balkans" project. This event brought together 80 participants from the Western Balkans’ electricity sector alongside international partners, signifying the commencement of a collaborative effort towards a cleaner energy future. The conference gathered key stakeholders, experts, and decision-makers to address the pressing challenges and opportunities in the regions’ energy transition. Through engaging discussions and presentations, attendees were introduced to the projects’ overarching goals, emphasizing the need for collective action and cooperation in tackling shared energy challenges. The video was made as part of the project Green Agenda: Decarbonisation of the Electricity sector in the Western Balkans, which is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
