Belarusian manufacturers are embracing new technologies and building a future-ready workforce. One of the most promising careers emerging in manufacturing is digital metrology. Specialists in this field will ensure product quality using advanced measurement systems. The demand for these professionals is expected to grow fast, with at least 75 positions already needing to be filled annually. 📈 The College of Modern Technologies in Mechanical Engineering and Auto Service, a branch of the Republican Institute for Vocational Education, became the first in Belarus to launch the training for digital metrologists. With support from UNDP, the college opened the country’s first Digital Metrology Laboratory. Equipped with state-of-art machinery, it provides both students and experienced professionals an opportunity to learn the digital skills sought after by employers.
