Introducing Island Voices for Nature — a new podcast series by UNDP Mauritius and Seychelles. As we mark World Environment Day and World Ocean Day this June, we invite you to join a series of inspiring conversations with the people helping shape a more sustainable future for our islands. From environmental advocates and scientists to conservation leaders, private sector champions, policymakers and youth activists, Island Voices for Nature explores the opportunities, challenges and solutions surrounding nature conservation, climate resilience, sustainable development and ocean governance in Small Island Developing States. Throughout the series, we will hear from: 🔹 Vikash Tatayah, Conservation Director at Mauritian Wildlife Foundation 🔹 Hon. Fabrice David, Junior Minister of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy and Fisheries 🔹 Sophie Desvaux de Marigny, Chief Sustainability Executive at ER Group(@ER_Group) 🔹 Dr Daniel Marie, Director of the Mauritius Oceanography Institute 🔹 Rachele Bhoyroo, Communication and Advocacy Coordinator at Eco-Sud (@eco-sud2446) 🔹 Krishna Pentayah, Founder of "Sov Lanatir" 🔹 Adi Teelock, Environmental Advocate and Historian Together, they will share their perspectives on topics including climate justice, youth action, environmental governance, marine conservation, corporate sustainability, coral reef protection, the blue economy, sustainable fisheries, and Mauritius' journey as an ocean nation.
