Super tuskers like Craig are running out of space
We’re in Amboseli National Park, standing near one of the most famous elephants in Kenya — a super tusker named Craig. His tusks are so long they almost touch the ground, making him one of the last of his kind.
But elephants like Craig face growing challenges. As habitats become fragmented, their future depends on communities, conservation partners, and governments working together to secure land, protect migration routes, and keep landscapes connected.
Protecting elephants isn’t just about safeguarding individuals — it’s about ensuring they have the space they need to roam, migrate, and thrive.
