What happens when two IDEO researchers spend long days filming a course together? A lot of singing, some chaos, and apparently this video. This is a peek behind the curtain of making Human-Centered Research with AI, IDEO U's newest course on using AI as a research and analysis partner. We wanted to show the work that goes into creating something we really care about, and also that we genuinely enjoy each other's company. Meet your instructors: Angela Kochoska is a Data Science Design Lead at IDEO, where she brings together data-driven design research and emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Natural Language Processing, to fuel human-centered work. She holds a PhD in Computational Astrophysics and has done machine learning research for NASA's Kepler and TESS missions. She'll also probably be at an open mic near you. Hannah Rosenfeld is an Executive Design Researcher at IDEO who leads complex design programs with a particular focus on healthcare. She blends research, strategy, and storytelling to help organizations uncover insights and turn them into real impact. She holds a Master's in Designing for Interactions from Carnegie Mellon, and is mom to a very passionate toddler. The course they made together launches May 21, 2026.
