The CAREC University Startup Generator 2024 (USG 2024) was concluded on August 28, with Team Filtresha from Pakistan securing the first place. Other top winners are Team Genesis–Nurture Nest, Team AgroConnect, and Team Louq. Over 440 students from 202 teams from CAREC member countries participated in the 3rd cohort of USG. From June to August 2024, the program provided an opportunity for university students across the region to learn from experts, cultivate their entrepreneurial spirit, and develop innovative solutions. The initiative supports the objectives of CAREC Digital Strategy 2030, particularly to nurture the digital innovation ecosystem and enhance digital skills and competencies in the CAREC region.
