UNICEF Supports Internship Programme for Child Protection in Haiti | UNICEF Haiti

In Haiti, many young graduates face limited opportunities to gain professional experience after completing their studies. Through an internship programme supported by UNICEF, the Institute of Social Welfare and Research (IBESR) is providing young people with opportunities to apply their skills in real-life settings while supporting children affected by violence, displacement, and family separation. A total of 55 interns have been deployed across the country, working directly in communities and sites for displaced populations. They contribute to psychosocial activities, support children in vulnerable situations, and help them begin to heal and rebuild hope. This experience is positive both for young professionals and for the communities they serve, strengthening child protection services in Haiti. 💙 Investing in youth is investing in the protection and future of every child.
