In Haiti, armed group violence has forced hundreds of thousands of children from their homes, exposing them to extreme risks, including gender-based violence. Ania*’s story shows the fear, loss, and trauma children face while displaced. Through UNICEF and partner support, survivors receive medical care, psychosocial support, and safe spaces to recover and rebuild hope. In 2024 alone, over 4,000 cases of sexual violence were reported in Haiti.
