Youth Employment Crisis and the Role of Entrepreneurship

With over 60% of Pakistan’s population under the age of 30, the country is home to a vibrant and innovative generation. While youth unemployment poses a significant challenge, this demographic represents a unique opportunity to turn the crisis into a force for economic growth, entrepreneurship, and social innovation. Recognizing this potential, Accountability Lab Pakistan, in collaboration with Freedom Gate Prosperity hosted a Public Dialogue on the Youth Employment Crisis and the Role of Entrepreneurship at Hamdard University Islamabad. The event brought together students, policymakers, diplomats, and industry experts to discuss forward-thinking strategies, skill development, and collaborative approaches that empower youth to become job creators and innovators. Through engaging discussions with experts expert, participants explored how creativity, problem-solving, and cross-sector collaboration can transform challenges into opportunities. The dialogue inspired a shared vision: by harnessing their talents and entrepreneurial spirit, Pakistan’s youth can drive inclusive growth, pioneer sustainable solutions, and shape a prosperous future for the nation.
