Girls like Tahane should not lose their futures

Before conflict forced 13 year old Tahane to flee #Sudan, she remembers a life filled with school and play. 🏫 🎒 ✏️ 

Now living in a refugee camp in Chad with her grandmother and uncle, she sees on a daily basis how a lack of basic resources - like hygiene and sanitary supplies - is pushing girls out of school and into early marriage.

Plan International Sudan has been working in the region for more than 40 years, delivering a range of humanitarian and development programs. 

After 3 years of conflict and after global attention shifts elsewhere, Sudan must not be forgotten. 

Tahane is determined to stay in school, keep learning and shape her own future. ✨
