Understanding Biodiversity Conservation Through Indigenous and Local Knowledge in Malawi
The National Ecosystem of Malawi is excited to present a mini-documentary that focuses on understanding biodiversity conservation through Indigenous and Local Knowledge (ILK) in Malawi. The film features ILK knowledge holders, as well as representatives from the government and academia. It explores how the Malawi National Ecosystem Assessment is leveraging ILK at the science-policy interface to facilitate informed policy and decision-making for the effective management of the country’s ecosystems and their services.
