Stefan Priesner, UN Resident Coordinator to India, recently visited Annapurti, or GrainATM, in Odisha to witness its operation as a round-the-clock machine that dispenses rations to entitled citizens under NFSA in a transparent and efficient manner, reducing waiting times and concerns about accuracy. The made-in-India solution developed by #wfp in partnership with the Government of India is being implemented in different states, with beneficiaries highlighting its advantages in terms of dignity and ease of the process.
