Focusing on what persons with disabilities can do – and not what they can’t do – this short documentary looks at the lives and achievements of four different disability champions from across Kosovo society, who all have different disabilities and different talents. From Olympic medalists to UN Human Rights laureates, We Are Able is about celebrating the immense talent, drive, focus and determination of the four characters featured, as well as looking at what more support is needed for Kosovo’s persons with disabilities, including the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities into Kosovo legislation.
