The Jahjaga Foundation was founded by the Former President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga in March 2018 with goals of democratic development of Kosovo and peacebuilding in the Balkans through social inclusion and support for marginalised groups, including assisting survivors of #DomesticViolence to find sustainable income. Hana participated at the annual πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡³ United Nations Global Open Day on Women, Peace and Security event in Kosovo organised by UNMIK and UN Women Kosovo in Pristina in May. The event included panel discussions and was followed by a trade fair of different products produced by 13 Kosovo women-led businesses, selling everything from clothes to medicinal products.
