Building a Cyber-Resilient Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Bangladesh

63,500 MSME entrepreneurs in Bangladesh gained hands-on cybersecurity training, while over 200,000 people received essential digital skills. Through this work, SAJIDA Foundation, in partnership with The Asia Foundation and supported by Google.org,-- Google’s philanthropic arm is strengthening cyber resilience and unlocking digital opportunities for entrepreneurs across Bangladesh. The APAC Cybersecurity Fund aims to strengthen the Asia-Pacific region’s digital resilience by equipping micro and small businesses, nonprofits, and social enterprises with practical skills to stay safe online. Supported by Google.org, the initiative is led by The Asia Foundation in partnership with the CyberPeace Institute and Global Cyber Alliance. Working with implementing organizations and universities, the program advances inclusive cybersecurity through localized cyber hygiene training and university-based Cyber Clinics that provide hands-on support and co-develop tailored solutions with local stakeholders. The initiative spans 13 countries: Australia, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
