The Regional Report on Food Security and Nutrition in West Africa and the Sahel 2024 (RRSAN) provides timely and reliable data needed to address the region's increasing food security and nutrition challenges. It presents data and analyses from the latest March 2024 Cadre Harmonisé (CH) cycle and includes expanded technical analyses by the Permanent Interstate Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS) and its partners on the 2023-2024 agricultural campaign. The report is the result of a partnership between CILSS and the Food Security Information Network (FSIN) and produced in collaboration with the Cadre Harmonisé Technical Committee in support of the Global Food Crisis Network (GNAFC). It aligns with the Global Report on Food Crises (GRFC), contributing to a common narrative on acute food insecurity at the global and regional levels.
