Umang: Shifting norms, empowering lives

Umang leverages the incredible mother-daughter bond for shifting regressive social and gender norms around child/early marriage and enables mothers to guide their daughters towards progressive alternatives in life, including education and financial independence. This film captures the transformation and emerging leadership among women, both collectively and as individual mothers, in creating an enabling environment for nurturing the aspirations of girls.
