This short film captures the journey of the Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana (SJY) Urban—an initiative by JEEViKA, Department of Rural Development, Government of Bihar, to address urban extreme vulnerability. Through the lived experiences of programme participants, the film highlights stories of aspiration, and quiet determination as households navigate poverty, precarity, and systemic exclusion. It also foregrounds the unwavering efforts of Master Resource Persons (MRPs), whose handholding, trust-building, and on-ground mentorship form the backbone of the program. Together, the film reflects how sustained support can enable families to move towards self-reliance in some of the most challenging urban contexts.
