Turning research into solutions, we are creating impact in: 🌱 Drought-resilient crops 💡 Public-private scaling 🤝 Government partnerships 🚀 Millions of lives improved 🌍 In Sub-Saharan Africa, certified seed production of stress-tolerant maize varieties increased from 72K to 205K MT in six years, reaching 8.4M hectares and nearly 10M households. 🇿🇲 Zambia: We are supporting delivery hubs that scale drought-tolerant maize to 230K hectares—275K MT of maize, or 19% of national output. 🇲🇽 Mexico: We are driving agricultural transformation through 11,950 innovation sites, 47 research platforms, and over 70,000 hectares of climate-smart practices. 🇪🇹 Ethiopia: Over 90% of wheat fields now use CIMMYT- and ICARDA-derived varieties, transforming productivity nationwide. 🌏 South Asia: CIMMYT wheat varieties are grown across 10–12M hectares.
