Partnering for Impact. Combining Global Tools w/ Local Adaptations to Reach EO-Impacted Communities
This side event explores how mine action partners working with UNOPS have creatively expanded their support to affected communities. CENSCOPE, a local humanitarian grantee delivering risk education is operationalizing IMAS in northern Nigeria; international NGO the Danish Refugee Council is working alongside local NGOs to clear Khartoum nieghbourhoods, and international commercial implementor SafeLane Global has re-engineered its clearance capacity in South Sudan to address to the broad range of South Sudan’s explosive hazards.
