Justifying and Embedding Environmental Responsibility and Long-Term Climate Considerations Into HMA
This side event will provide evidence and demonstrate to national authorities and mine action operators the importance of embedding environmental responsibility and climate-responsive approaches into mine action programmes. It aims to bridge the gap between conjecture, policy and practice by sharing research results, subsequent practical entry points and examples of good practice for implementing sustainable, relevant and impactful mine action programmes.
