Protecting Civilians in Libya: Skirat Explosion Response, Bridging Information & Field Operations
This event will show how information management and operations work together to reduce explosive risks and protect civilians in Libya. It will draw on the response to the unplanned explosion at Skirat in Misrata, highlighting how LibMAC swiftly mobilized national and international NGOs for clearance and risk education. The event will also show how IMSMA supports timely, coordinated response through data collection, analysis and tasking in support of stabilization and conflict prevention.
