Since 2018, Action Aainst Hunger has operated 10 community kitchens in different locations of makeshift settlements to distribute nutritious hot meals (only lunch, which fulfilled 50% of daily requirement) 5 days in a week among the targeted vulnerable and special need beneficiaries (children, PLWs, adolescents, elderly, chronically sick and disabled persons). Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) was one of the core donors of the Community Kitchen initiative, which enabled refugees to access proper meals.
