Dylan Chewe, SolarAid’s Project Coordinator in Zambia, shares why Namanongo has been chosen to pilot our Energy-as-a-Service project - and what it will take to reach every home, school and clinic with clean, reliable solar power. Namanongo is home to over 1,382 households, many of which are not connected to the grid. This impacts daily life - from education and healthcare to safety after dark. Through our Energy-as-a-Service model, SolarAid is working with local communities to bring affordable, dependable solar power to those who need it most.
