https://gaza5k.org/ Dallas, we’re coming back! UNRWA USA is bringing back our Gaza 5K on Saturday May 16th to the Lone Star State where everything is bigger. In 2024, y’all showed up big for Gaza and we know this community will do it again this May. You can walk, run, or just hang out—whatever you do, however you show up, it all counts towards our goal of coming together to provide mental healthcare for kids in Gaza. To put it into perspective, a 5 year old child in Gaza has lived over 2 years, half their life, through what experts know to be a genocide. It’s hard to even begin to imagine the psychological trauma this can take on a child. Distance can make us feel helpless but don’t let it. Just remember, our voices and support here in the U.S. matter. By uniting as a community, we can truly change lives for the better. Whether you’re in Dallas, close to Dallas, or anywhere near the state of Texas, get in a car and join us at UNRWA USA’s Gaza 5K this May.
