The impacts of climate change go far beyond the destruction of land and homes. They weaken livelihoods, deepen humanitarian crises, and increase vulnerabilities particularly for women and girls. This documentary highlights the work of UNFPA Burundi in support of populations affected by natural disasters, in refugee camps, relocation sites for displaced communities, and schools. Through powerful testimonies from women, young people, health care providers, and community leaders, it shows how access to sexual and reproductive health services, the prevention and response to gender-based violence, as well as awareness-raising and capacity-building initiatives, are transforming communities in a sustainable way.
