Sustainable livelihoods
Many of our partners work with people who live on less than a few dollars a day. People such as smallholder farmers, herders and small-scale entrepreneurs. They support them to overcome poverty and establish stable and sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families. For example, access to improved seed, fertilizer or irrigation technology can help increase crop yields. While timely financial training can help people start or strengthen a small business, increasing their chances of building a better future.
