Meet Paulina and Tatiana, two members of the ‘Integrity Team’ from Moldovan law enforcement agencies!! As part of its work in Moldova, DCAF has built a strong network of integrity trainers in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and its subordinated institutions to foster integrity in their organizational culture. Through our longstanding relationship with the Internal Protection and Anticorruption Service within the MIA, DCAF held two generations of a training-of-trainers course on integrity. The ToT, delivered by DCAF in 2023 and 2025, focuses on building facilitation skills for trainers on police integrity, ethics, non-discrimination, and integrity planning. This prepares the trainers to independently deliver trainings on integrity related topics across the Moldovan law enforcement system. The Integrity Team continues to meet regularly with DCAF for debriefings on training deliveries, training challenges, and new training techniques. This work on with the integrity trainers is implemented by DCAF alongside other integrity building work as part of the programme ‘Strengthening Security Sector Governance in Moldova’ (2023 – 2028), financed by Sweden.
