At the Munich Security Conference, Elders met leaders from across the world to speak up in defence of international law and multilateral cooperation in an era of rising division. In meetings, including with the Foreign Ministers of Palestine, Oman and Lebanon, US Senator Chris Coons and UN officials, Elders made the case for principled leadership to prevent and resolve conflicts, not stoke them through new arms races.
