Abel Chungu Musuka Visits Solar Water Project Bringing Clean Water to 9,000 People | Gwembe, Zambia

What does access to clean water mean for children and families? During a visit to Munyumbwe in Gwembe District, musician and humanitarian Abel Chungu Musuka saw firsthand how a solar-powered water reticulation system is helping deliver safe water to a health facility and surrounding communities. "This water tank supplies about 9,000 people. This water is supplied to the healthcare facility and nearby homes, to patients and their families and especially children." Reflecting on the experience, Abel shared: "The world truly is a better place when people play their part." Reliable access to safe water is improving health services, supporting children and families, and strengthening communities. This initiative is supported by UNICEF in partnership with the Government of Zambia and partners. 🍎 For every child, health, wellbeing and nutrition. #ForEveryChild #UNICEFZambia #WASH #CleanWater #ChildHealth #Gwembe #Zambia #SolarPower #HealthSystems
