8 April 2026, Wajir, Kenya:
The IGAD Centre for Pastoral Areas and Livestock Development (ICPALD), under the PASSAGE Project and in collaboration with NDMA, convened stakeholders to pilot community-led drought risk narratives for the Somali Cluster. The initiative integrates scientific forecasts with local knowledge to strengthen anticipatory action.
