African civil society organisations must urgently prepare for elections in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). In episode five, Dr 'Bosun Tijani, Nigerian Minister of Communications, Innovation and the Digital Economy, stresses the importance of Africa's active participation in global AI discussions and shares his vision for transforming Nigeria into a leading innovation center for the continent: “Nigeria has the opportunity to write a new story for the African continent, leveraging AI, tech, the internet, and the continent’s youth bulge.” Dr. Tijani is a co-founder of the Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB), a platform that supports entrepreneurs in their journey of solving social problems in Nigeria through tech.
