Chemonics UK was delighted to welcome a group of eight talented students and recent graduates to our team as part of our Work Experience Programme. Over the course of a dynamic week, they immersed themselves in project and research work on Chemonics’ initiatives. This year, Chemonics UK collaborated with the award-winning social mobility charity upReach, (www.upReach.org.uk) whose values closely align with Chemonics UK as we are driven by a vision of a society in which everybody has an equal opportunity to realise their full career potential regardless of social background. The placement week was packed with diverse activities, providing students with invaluable insights into areas such as conflict and stabilisation, climate and private sector engagement, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and much more.
