The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)-funded Yemen Peacebuilding Programme, also known as Josoor, was a four-year initiative designed to foster lasting peace in Yemen. Led and managed by Chemonics UK with partners DeepRoot Consulting and the Yemen Polling Centre, the programme targeted four governorates, Marib, Shabwah, Taizz, and Al Hudaydah. A fifth governorate, Aden, was added in 2023 due to the political and security developments in the area. On 23 July 2023, Josoor and the programme's donors and local partners convened in Amman, Jordan to conclude the programme and reflect on how Josoor helped make a difference for people suffering from conflict in Yemen. Captured at the workshop, this short film highlights some of the programme’s key successes and discusses the ongoing impact it will have on peacebuilding efforts in Yemen.
