Life On Assignment: Midwives
Learn what it means to practice midwifery with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in humanitarian and low-resource settings.
Our panel of MSF midwives will discuss the realities of providing antenatal and postnatal care in resource limited contexts and how maternal and neonatal complications are addressed in our projects.
The session will also highlight the protocols, training, and multidisciplinary teamwork that underpin safe person-centred care practice in challenging environments.
This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from experienced MSF professionals about the critical role midwives play across in many parts of the world towards supporting women and girls’ sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing and improving maternal and newborn health outcomes worldwide.
