Vunidogoloa Moves Higher
Houses of the village Vunidogoloa in Fiji had been slowly sinking into the ground due to rapidly rising sea levels. In order to flee the impacts of climate change, the village had been relocated to higher areas more distant to the sea. Relocation has significantly improved the living situation of community members, since the number of houses has risen, and the new location makes access to the town and schools much easier.
