This video brings awareness to the burden of pneumonia, especially in high-burden countries that don’t have the PCV yet, such as Somalia (as well as Chad, Guinea, and South Sudan). PCVs are an effective prevention tool that can support countries in lowering the number of pneumonia-related deaths, however many countries cannot access PCVs for reasons such as cost. We must improve access to PCVs in order to stop needless preventable suffering of children from pneumonia.
