A Climate Dashboard Lifts Off
Description
Johns Hopkins researchers are focusing on the transportation sector as a major source of air- and climate-warming pollution. For universities, air travel emissions in particular can account for a significant proportion of overall emissions, as part of their scope 3 footprint. Other universities like MIT have established business travel dashboards to foster greater awareness of their university’s footprint, and researchers at Johns Hopkins University are working to launch a similar tool under the Campus as a Living Lab initiative. This 60-minute webinar discussed tracking greenhouse gas emissions from business-related air travel emissions with a panel of sustainability and accountability leaders from JHU and MIT.
