Webinar_From Silos to Systems: Decentralised and interoperable data exchange

Within national agricultural ecosystems, there exist several data systems with multiple standards and guidelines developed by governments and other stakeholders. Clear data standard frameworks both at the national and regional levels build trust and facilitate exchange of quality data among stakeholders. Data standards facilitate interoperability within systems by ensuring seamless data exchange, enhancing service delivery, promoting transparency, and driving innovation. NAgDI principles call for countries to ensure secure, decentralised, standardised and interoperable technologies and systems that create national spaces to facilitate seamless data exchange between individual data systems adhering to DPI principles to foster innovation and support data-driven collaboration. This webinar provided a platform for experts and practitioners to engage in a dialogue around systems thinking as it applies to agricultural data and infrastructure in support of food systems transformation.
