Blumont is seeking experienced professionals with background in U.S. Government-funded stabilization, transition, and conflict prevention programming to join our roster of experts for upcoming opportunities under the SWIFT 6-Programs "EXploratory Pilot and Learning Options for Regional Efficiency" (EXPLORE) Middle East & North Africa (MENA) contract.
Areas of expertise may include:
- Program management and field operations in stabilization contexts (e.g., Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, Operations Manager, Regional Program Manager)
- Governance, political transition, security cooperation, political analysis, and community resilience
- Conflict and/or radicalization prevention, mediation/arbitration, peacebuilding, reintegration, and reconciliation
- Community and economic development, and youth programming
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning for stabilization programs
- Grants Management (fixed amount award, simplified, standard, in-kind)
- Rapid program start-up and close-out in complex environments
- Operations, logistics, and compliance with USG regulations
- Solution design, development, and writing of successful stabilization proposals
General qualifications:
- A demonstrable track record managing and/or implementing former USAID/OTI, DOS, other USG-funded stabilization programs with measurable results
- Overseas field experience working in one or more developing countries undergoing political instability or in non-permissive environments areas
- Experience with civilian-military cooperation preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills
- Regional experience in conflict affected or transitioning contexts preferred
- Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- Strong knowledge of international conflict architecture, partnership landscape, and familiarity with the international funders and stakeholders working to promote global stabilization and good governance initiatives
- Fluency in English. Arabic language skills strongly preferred.
