ABOUT THE ROLE

Provides the management of the Quality Management Test Service its functions and supports staff for a specified Solution Line(s) and the associated Test portfolio. Uses appropriate processes methodologies and technologies in compliance with SITA's policies and processes. Works with other Quality Management Portfolio Leads for consistent processes across SITA.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and manages planning of the scope of tests within the test portfolio.
  • Takes responsibility for integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinates the improvement of these activities.
  • Provides authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution.
  • Supports all phases of testing in scope of the portfolio including test deliverables and auditability.
  • Selects project testing standards for all phases influencing all parties to conform to those standards.
  • Trains and support testers embedded in scrum teams
  • Provides governance across Test plans, Definition of Done and Exit documentation
  • Be the expert both functionally and technically in what makes the solution.
  • Be responsible for, create and document the Test strategy
  • Supports and is comfortable to be part of ISO 9001 and ISO 27K processes and audit
  • Knowledge of security issues , being able to discuss with security office and security test team .
  • Make release recommendations
  • With the other Quality Engineering Leads responsible for bringing AI to testing across SITA.
  • An advocate for automation first
  • Facilitate Risk meetings, understand the Risk Lifecycle
  • Reporting to the Quality and Enabling Practices Director.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a QA environment of which 5 years were spent as a QA Manager including experience with current software testing methodologies functional testing integration testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Formal project management training desirable.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or similar.
