PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the role is to support the implementation of the supplier quality strategy and ensure operational execution of supplier quality processes within an international team. The role focuses on monitoring supplier performance, resolving quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement activities in alignment with the Supplier Quality Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support supplier qualification, onboarding, and periodic reevaluation activities.
- Monitor supplier quality performance using defined KPIs and report deviations to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and conduct supplier audits and assessments under the guidance of the Supplier Quality Manager.
- Manage supplier related non-conformances, including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Apply and document quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and CAPA.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Product Management to resolve operational quality issues, including across international sites.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by coordinating supplier readiness activities and ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
- Maintain supplier quality documentation, records, and reporting in line with internal and external standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the global supply base.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- Initial to several years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality engineering.
- Basic to solid knowledge of quality standards and management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 16949, ISO 14000 etc.).
- Practical experience with common quality tools and structured problem-solving methods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
